I wore this outfit to work yesterday with flats and then popped some heels, lippy and a hair band on to go and meet friends after work. I NEVER wear bright lipstick so I felt a bit self conscious all night. I have Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy which I wear all the time, I much prefer nude lip colours. Thanks for all the tips on my last outfit post, I'm going to invest in a red cardi it would look nice with this dress and the last one.

The title of the post isn't a reference to something cool like The Velvet Underground song it's because the new Britney album came out on Monday, woohoo!


I love BritBrit, listening to her in bed whilst painting my nails.

A very messy attempt at putting some Magenta Divine on that Sarah sent me. I love it and I might put another coat on so it's solid glitter.

I bought loads of new albums this week including The Strokes, The Vaccines and Joy Formidable. What have you been listening to recently?

    i have the vaccines album and i love it so much, to be honest i stole it off my dad! haha its just really easy to listen to.

    I'm listening to White Lies none stop lately, literally now - earlier - probably later as well.. very good throwback 80s glam rock. Loving your new(ish) fringe darl! You lot HOTT!     i love that dress, it's been on my want list for alittle while now, but now that it's actually payday i can't decide what i want most from the list, so think i'm going to leave it a week or so!
    i lvoe the lippy, but i'm like you in that i'm always too scared to wear it!

    Hey,
    I love your style.....I am also a lover of dresses, they are so much more comfier then trousers!
    Also a tip for doing nail varnish, Avon sell a corrector pen, I sware by it can make as much of a mess as you want and just wipe it off at the end.
    Anyway I'm now a follower of your blog....I have just started my own, if you would like to have a browse.

    Thanks for the lipstick love girls, I may wear red mroe often! I have a ysl orange lipstick that I never wear because everyone says it makes me look like La Roux but I'm sure it will look nice in the summer.

    @Funny Little Frog- that correction pen sounds fab, I will have to check it out.

    @Claire(jazzpad.)- I saw White Lies support Glasvegas on tour before, they were amazing!!
