I was sent this gorgeous dress by OneStopPlus a few weeks ago to review and immediately wore it to a Cardiff Blogs event. I picked it because of the lovely colour and it is a little less girly than the dresses I would normally get, I thought it made a nice change.OneStopPlus is a online plus size fashion retailer that stocks over 100 brands in sizes 14-40. I think there is a 25% discount on the site at the moment and 10% off if you join the mailing list.
I paired it with some simple black pumps and a Miss Selfridge clutch. I added my biker jacket and a little more jewellery to go to the event but that hid the button detail on the shoulder so I took the photos without the layers.
I loved the silky material and the bright colour, it felt very luxurious. I think you could wear this to a wedding, to work with a blazer or on the weekend with some heels. It was fairly pricey at £80+ but it really is a great dress, very classic.
If I were to score this dress out of 10 I think it would get an 8. It fits well, is a lovely colour and I think it flatters my shape. The only negatives I can think of are the price (which isn't too bad using the current discount codes) and the fact that it creases when you sit down a little. Overall, a very chic dress!
