Sales!

By Gem - 15:12:00

Thought I would share my bargains with you and an do an outfit post (which is a bit blurry because my mam can't take photos)
The dress is ASOS curve and the cardi is from asda. I got the shoes in the sales in New Look for £8 and they are wide fit so I hope they will be nice and comfy. My brother usually takes all the photos but it's his turn to trawl the sales today and I'm staying with the dog so you get a nice blurred photo.
I got one red and one pink/purple pair of shoes in New Look and a cheap floral shopper bag and a HUGE tapestry bag which I can't find anywhere, only I could lose a bag that big in my house.

This eyeshadow wasn't in the sale but I wanted a neutral colour to wear to work and this fits the bill, it's a nude shade with a bit of shimmer, there was a bit of glitter fall out around my eyes but other than that I'm pretty happy with it. I tried to take a photo of it on but my camera couldn't focus properly.

I tried to buy loads of things on the Accessorize website and everything in the sale sold out in about in hour but my mam too me to the Cwmbran branch yesterday and I got a lovely collection of brooches and a few purses. The sets of brooches are about £5 each which is a great deal for three.
The purse was only £3!
This is a pencil case but it's lined so I might use it as a make up bag to put in my handbag, just £3 :)
I got this really cute cushion in Matalan for £4, doesn't really match my bedroom decor but it can go in the garage with all the other bits and bobs I've been collecting for when I get my own place.

I'm pretty happy with all my bargains, did you get anything good? Do you prefer to shop the sales online?
I'm waiting for ASOS to drop the sale prices even lower so I can swoop in and buy loads from the curve range.
xx

  4. Thank-you for the Hummingbird tip :)

I got a few stationary bits from the Accesorize sale yesterday, I love the Je taime case, I didn't see this one at mine, but I did get the sticky notes and stickers in the range.
I also helplessly couldn't resist a ladybird stapler...even tho I probably have a normal stapler in my desk, but thats besides the point!

I have to agree with Belle, the cushion is very Cath Kidston, but such a reasonable price. I adore floral prints :)xx

  6. From the online sales I got a Topshop coat and some Schuh flats, and in store I got three tops and a skirt from Zara. They had tons of lovely stuff in the sale! Massive queue, though. I got a knitting needle roll with bamboo needles and a sewing box too from Lakeland. Tomorrow I'm going to brave the sales again and go to Accessorize, I had to give it a miss last time because our parking was up.

  8. @Nicola- sounds like you did really well! I think going back tomorrow is a good idea, it's so stressful you need to break it into little chunks. I felt like I had done a 12 hour shift after shoppong the sales for a couple of hours

@TeriWeri- I know the cape! I love the beige belted coat too. Real vintage is always better!

  9. I hate sale shopping, until I find a bargain, then I'm totally in love with it again! The shoes that you asked me about are kind of odd, they look really narrow but actually they fit me fine. I have wide feet at the front and narrow feet at the back, so normally I can't wear New Look's wide fit range because they flop off. It all depends on where the widest bit of your foot is I think! I don't know if this will help because I don't know what shoe size you are, but I'm a 5 and the widest part of my foot is 3.5". I just measured with a ruler, all in the name of getting you a well fitting pair of shoes! If you're not sure and there's a Schuh near you I'd say buy them, delivery is free and if they don't fit you can take them back to the shop. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

  10. thanks for going the extra mile, just placed my order :)
I'm the same with Evans shoes, normal fit is too small and wide fit is to big, what a nightmare!

  17. @ScienceGeek- I just typed a really long comment and it disappeared!
I love anything with bows on so I had to buy two pairs.

I didn't see any laptop cases but the Cwmbran branch is tiny, my brother bought me a nice floral one for Christmas from Primark and it was only about £8, bargain x

  25. I do love free shipping, I think Accessorize is only about £2.95 though which isn't too bad. I always end up buying loads on asos because it's free delivery and returns x
