Another Peacocks Dress...

By Gem - 20:31:00

Hello! This is one of the dresses I got in Peacocks with my 40% discount. I usually stick to dark colour dresses then pair it with a bright cardi but I chose a dress with some lighter and brighter colours. I look a little washed out but I wore this to work and I've been trying to wear less make up so that might have something to do with it. I got the cardi from h&m and it love it. It's organic cotton and it's nice and light. It get so warm in work but I don't like having my arms uncovered so this is a cardi that I wont have to take off.

Dress: Peacocks
Cardigan: H&M
Brooch: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: New Look
Hair Flower: H&M

I went on the second day of my Team Leadership Skills course today, there was a lot more writing involved, discussions and group work, it tired me out so I went shopping after to relax... and bought a dress :) How bad is that? I'll show you later in the week, it was only £12.50 and it goes with the pink h&m cardigan.

I'm going to watch some Snog, Marry, Avoid and Gossip Girl with a big mug of tea.
Hope you are all having a fab week.
xx

  18. I love the print on the dress, though I don't have much luck with Peacocks myself. I think I'm just the wrong shape for their clothes.

Snog, Marry Avoid is one of my favourite things on telly. Though it has got siller this series, I think Hotter than My Daughter has overtaken it in my Best TV Ever list.

  19. You have so many lovely dresses, I really like the candy colours in contrast to brighter colours. Sometimes it's nice to wear something a little different.
This print reminds me a little bit of Cath Kidston, and you know how much I love her prints!

The brooch is so lovely too xxx

  20. Beautiful dress, I might have to go to peacocks to check it out! I was just about to say how much it looks like a Kath Kidston print then I see Alice above me as beat me to it! I think it's the pastel colours that does it :)

I'd love it if you checked out my blog - I've only just started it:

  21. Thanks Alice, I thought it was quite Cath Kidston too, I like the Cath Kidston dresses but they don't make dresses in my size :(

I love Hotter than My Daughter Nicola! I prefer make overs to make unders. The presenter always looks fab and is really nice to the women too.
