AW15 is set to be a season to remember, and I've teamed up with the guys at St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff which is my usual shopping haunt to give you a breakdown of the top trends and how you can achieve the look.
THAT SEVENTIES SHOW
Bohemia is back! The fashion week catwalks, and now the rails, are teaming with fringes, A-line miniskirts, suede and a range of folksy prints.
Get the look: purchase some key pieces that will work with your existing wardrobe. A suede skirt is a great place to start.
VICTORIANA
A hint of gothic style will win you extra trend points this season! Bow collars, lace and a deep berry lipstick should do the trick.
Get the look: drama is key for this look, so by choosing a statement piece, such as a jacket or laced blouse, paired with a strong lip, the look can easily be achieved.
Dress: Debenhams £rk - Lipstick: M&S £10- Blouse: Primakr £10- Dress: M&S £65
CODE RED
Crimson, Scarlet, Pillar-box. Whatever shade you choose, red is in abundance this season. A head to toe red ensemble will ensure you stand out from the crowd
Get the look: remember to keep it simple. Choose a key item for your wardrobe, such as a dress or coat, and wear it with pride.
FLUFFY LOVE
It’s all about the textures this season. Wherever you turn, your AW outerwear will be adorned with faux fur and other tactile fabrics.
Get the look: pick a gorgeous jacket or coat that will take you through the colder months. Fur, sheepskin and shearling textures will keep you warm and chic!
Coat: M&S £95 - Scarf: Accessorize £32- Gilet: New Look £24.99 - Boots: Primark £15
It's definitely time to get the 100 denier tights out and swap the coral lipstick for a deep berry tone. What A/W items have you treated yourself to? I've dug out a trusty old black lace dress and my winter boots but I desparately need a smart new winter coat.
I'm excited to be taking over the St David's Instagram account this week so please head over there and say hello so it's a bit less scary for me. I've not done anything like this before, eeeek!

Love the burgundy boots and the patchwork skirt it gives off a perfect boho vibe!
ReplyDeleteI like the Victorian look, especially as I like lace. Don't think the 70's look is for me though :)
